Welcome to Pine Hill Feathered Acres:
Welcome!!! We are a Quality Breeding Program that strives to Produce Top Quality foals that will better the breed in every way! Our main priority is to better the breed by selecting pairings that complement each other and will produce a quality and healthy foal that has a wonderful temperament! Although colors are pretty, it is not our main focus. Health and temperament come FIRST!
About Pine Hill Feathered Acres:
PHFA is a small breeding program Founded in 2023. Tucked away on a small farm in lower South-Central Michigan surrounded by my Grandparents 150 Acre farmland. I am blessed to be able to have this wonderful opportunity! PHFA has been a lifelong dream of mine and it has finally come true! My top priority is to breed healthy, quality Gypsy Vanners, Gypsy Cobs, Gypsy Crosses, and Missouri Fox Trotters. I have dreamed of this since I was a little girl, and with the help of family and friends, here I am, living the dream!
About Me:
Hi, my name is Naomi, I am 22 years old, and Pine Hill Feathered Acres has been my Dream! I have been around horses my whole life. It all started when I was a little girl. My Grandma bred and raised foundation bred Missouri Fox Trotters and I would always go "over the river and through the woods" to her house and help her take care of the mares and foals, and help with chores, etc... Grandma has taught me a lot of things over the years, but something I will always remember her telling me about horses is "Naomi, Patience is Key! don't move fast, take things slow and steady". This is something that I always remember when training horses, and when I'm around horses in general. Most of my Equine background has been with Missouri Fox Trotters, but in 2020 I finally saved enough to purchase my first Gypsy Vanner, a silver, dapple gelding named Spartan.
In 2021 I purchased my first gypsy mare and foal; the rest is History! Now I have embarked on the amazing journey of following in my grandma's footsteps and breed quality horses!
Along with Breeding, I also ride and train. I ride English, Western, and I compete in all sorts of competitions with my horses to! I train all my own horses from the ground up. Groundwork is KEY, move slowly and make sure you don't skip steps!
This new journey is so exciting and I can't wait to keep you all updated and send you home with a quality Horse!
